26-52 - Eloise

26-52 - Lachie

A photo of my children, once a week, every week in 2014.

Eloise – The days of finding her where I left her are gone. This little one is on the move. The baby-proofing begins and I’ve realised it is a much more challenging process the second time around when there is a four year old dropping endless amounts tiny paraphernalia throughout the house.
Lachlan – My boy, how you’ve grown. Four years ago you made me a mum and I will forever be thankful to you for that. I have so many words about you that I want to write, I hope to find the time soon (at least sometime before you turn five!).

A photo of my children, once a week, every week in 2014.

Lachlan – Tracing his body on to some butchers paper I am reminded again just how big my baby boy has become.
Eloise – Nursing in the rocking chair by the dappled afternoon light, I drink in her milky skin, tiny hands and contended little sighs.

Lachlan – Playing in the curtains at my parents house, reminds me of this photo just over a year ago. And on his first day of Kindy with his daddy.

Eloise – Spot the baby amongst the pile of (clean) washing: she punctuates the sorting and folding with coos and smiles. And fresh after an evening shower.

Lachlan - 3/52

A photo of my children, once a week, every week in 2014.

Eloise – We are in the midst of the catnapping phase where sleeping anywhere but cuddled in my arms is unacceptable. And so into the sling she goes where she sleeps soundly for hours and I get to place as many kisses on this sweet face as my heart desires.
Lachlan – For the boy who never likes to sit still he has started to show an immense interest in art and craft so together we sit at our kitchen table and create with the simplest of materials.
